Seawatching has been gaining popularity in recent years,
whether watching from traditional coastal sites or from boats
while on specific 'pelagic' trips in search of seabirds, dolphins
and whales. Many seabirds will only be seen in flight, as
they pass by prominent headlands or fly past boats, and viewing
opportunities are frequently brief. This book is the essential
field guide for seawatching, specifically designed to address
the particular problems and limitations with this kind of
birding. Welcome to discover this wonderful world as seawatching
offer!

The new reprinted edition now in stock and available for
order!
During the summer 2006 the last copies of the English edition
was sold out and the book have since then been out of print!
But, the book have now been reprinted and are now available
on the market! By all means, however, this is not an updated
second edition, just a reprint, but the good news are, besides
a nicer front cover design and a lower price of the book, the
important fact that the publisher have tryed to re-worked all
the photographs! And according to Bertil Breife, who recently
received a reprint for the book store "Naturbokhandeln",
he was surprised that the publisher was able to making the photographs
so much better compared to the result in the original and previous
edition. |
Read
the reviews of the book
In Birdwatch (1/2004) the reviewer Steve Madge write: "The
book is so good that it's tempting to ask for that little bit
more. Surely anyone prepared to spend £35 on it would
be willing to spend another £10 for a 30 per cent larger
version with more thorough coverage? Roll on the next edition."
